Closed Circuit Television Inspection

API provides live, on-screen internal inspection of pipes with diameters of two inches and up. In addition to providing real-time inspection of your system, narrated videotapes with on-screen footage and overlaid text descriptions, we provide a comprehensive computer generated report for your records and review.
API is capable of completing inspections up to 1,000 feet in either direction depending on pipe diameter and condition. Our inspection vehicles are equipped with both a small tractor for pipes 6 inches and larger, and a large tractor for pipes 18 inches and larger. These tractors can be equipped with either a straight view or pan and tilt camera that is capable of full 360-degree pan and tilt rotation. In addition we have portable camera systems capable of inspecting pipes with diameters as small as 2". The small cameras can negotiate through multiple 2" 90 degree bends and 3" P-Traps

Our camera operators have a minimum 5 years experience. Each camera truck is equipped with two tractors, two straight view cameras, and two side viewing cameras. This redundancy helps ensure a high level of customer service and less down time.

API's TV inspection vehicles are equipped with color monitors, dual VCRs, color printers and a full range of safety equipment. These vehicles offer seating for three additional viewers.
